Exclusive, No. 322 of 750. REPAINT!

I own this beast for many years, but I never displayed it - until now. I had this LSB  locked up in a hidden place, because I never was satisfied with it´s fabrical paint application. It came out very monotone and flat, yet the sculpture (I know that now more than ever) is truly outstanding. Compared to the Warrior LSB, this sculptural image of the original Giger design comes out much bigger. The slightly inclined head with it´s open mouth ready to sting with it´s deadly inner tongue truly gives it a terrifying overall presence.

"When the mouth is closed it looks very voluptuous, beautiful. But when it opens its jaws the tongue inside the mouth is more like a spear... also very suggestive... which penetrates the head with greater velocity, snagging bits of brain. From Beauty to the Beast." H.R. Giger

When I requested Michael Ludwig to finally set this Big Chap free by giving it a new, more reasonable look, in my wildest nightmares I could not imagined Michael would take the expression "reasonable" to a whole new level. When I saw the first work-in-progress pictures, I was totally surprised, that the actual sculpt had so many more details to offer. It seemed like the fabric just had overpainted them all.

Well, words can hardly describe the feelings I had, when i fetched it up and saw the result for the first time. It´s sight just knocked me out of the park. To put it in a nutshell, Michael gave this Big Chap back it´s biomechanical nature, and for that I cannot say "thank you" enough my friend! Some of the pictures look like paintings, but god damn it, the actual piece is real 3D! I do not know how you do it, but please continue your affords and hard work. For me it´s just pure magic! It now is a truly centerpiece in my humble collection. But enough words, please enjoy the following galleries! Despite the down-sized quality of the pictures, I highly recommend to do that on a big screen.
